This is the inspiration for this week from IMT.
Whether it is the intimacy of your studio, the intimate relationships between colors or images, an intimate knowledge of your technique, or other intimate issues, this week, let us find inspiration in intimacy.
SHELTERING HEART
This prompt came easily to me...My littlest love of my life, my grandson, who is 2 1/2 years old. Has the gentlest, most precious heart...and being his MO-MA (his choice of names for me) it is my hearts desire to guide and protect him as he reaches his stars....This is my heartfelt joy....my love for my boy and my love of my creativity that I can share with him. Both are a blessing to me.
Artfully Yours,
Pattie

Pattie,
Beautiful artwork and a beautiful sentiment! Hugs, Laura
p.s. I've traded evergreens for palm trees but I still pause to enjoy the sound of wind rushing through the pines we have down here in Florida!
*sniff* That is so beautiful! What a lovely tribute to your grandson. Thank you for sharing your love with us.
Great illustration and wonderful sentiment. Fabulous piece.
Very nice your words.

My favorite part is the cute little swirls on the hearts. Talk about warm fussy inspiration!

I love this, its so sweet! I like how the wings curve in like hands :)
Warm and clever, bright and young!
O and look at that wings , they are really protecting !!! That was the first thing I noticed when I saw this beautiful art !Just like Valaine says , like hands. I love it!

tucked under your wing...lucky little lad!
How wonderful. The picture communicates everything you expressed so clearly.
It reminds me of the times when another's heart has seemed so big to me that it sprouted wings. Great reflection on the topic.
Big smile! It looks like it could be the cover to a CD of lullaby songs.
gosh the colour is amazing as usual....
What a precious piece! I love your grandson's nickname for you, how lucky! katy
aww, this is lovely and so much love - you are lucky to have a grandson, I'm still waiting to have my first Gchild...cant wait!
that is so beautiful!
Pattie - this is fabulous and I just love it! What I particularly love is that the wings to me also look like open hands gently caressing the heart pair. I so love your work!
This peace is so touching. What a beautiful tribute to your grandson! You captured the love for a child so well in this illustration!
