My Grandson, (who is 3) painted this heart for his Mommy for Valentines Day... I took it a step further and made a shadow box assemblage ...SHE LOVES IT...We paint as often as possible...And he loves COLOR (a chip off the old block!!) We are currently working on a pencil box which I will post soon as it dries!! Anyhow...I love collaborating with the little one!!

The IMT prompt this week:
Let’s revisit a favorite theme of mine: Find the Art in the Everyday. As you go through your day, look for the beauty. Find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Take a photo, draw a sketch, journal about it, then share with all of us here.
MY WORDS TO GO ALONG WITH THE ARTWORK:
There is nothing like the summer for me, especially living in upstate New York! It is alive with color...it is alive with humming and buzzing and life....These pretty little flowers beckon me this morning...they remind me of the joy...happiness and bliss that is in my life. While away I walked through a beautiful music garden...full of lush color and peace...washing over me a force that opens me to everything...
PS: to celebrate summer...to celebrate art...to celebrate my 315th post...come on over to one of my other blogs, ARTFULLY YOURS
