This week’s creative prompt is Wallpaper. Look to your own favorite papered walls for inspiration of pattern and color… use wallpaper scraps in your art… design your own desktop wallpaper… or perhaps feature wallpaper somehow in an illustration, painting, collage or sketch.
I took this opportunity to try a few different things that I was curious about. I used plaster to make the raised stencil and then laid the paint on with baby wipes...going over with different colors and wiping it off....Once done, I decided that my wallpaper needed a message! Although I only allow myself 10 minutes for these little 4 by 4 pieces...I am happy with the results and will try this process on a larger piece in the future.
Happy Easter to all who venture here.... And may you continue to GROW as we approach this time of renewal and rebirth of Spring!
Artfully Yours,
Pattie

Hugs! I love it!!! Especially the embossed effect you did.
And about the creative wine party. . . a couple of crafty girlfriends and I call them "Paintin' Parties", they are the best! We crank up the music, have glasses of wine and share a big canvas and see what it evolves in to! I highly recommend, fun times.
One of the most exciting things about a challenge is to risk and to do something you've never done before -- the use of plaster was excellent and the piece is wonderful!
very god idea...so colourful.. ;-)

Oh this is a great idea, thanks for sharing.....enjoy creating your 4x4-artwork! Smiles, Anke ;)
This looks so wonderfully dimensional. It sounds like you had a great time playing around with different echniques, and the result is just lovely. The green with the the "grow" message makes this a great springtime piece:>
love your greens!
Really pretty...I just love texture. What kind of plaster did you use?
Happy Easter to you too. I know I'm late.
