World Traveler

When I first saw this prompt...I was LOST! And after looking within I discovered that my answer for myself with WORLD TRAVELER was.."There is no place like home"... Clicking my ruby red shoes 3 times!! Now, it is not because I don't like to travel...Because I certainly do, but because when the trips are over it is always such a wonderful thing to come HOME. Home where my heart is ... Home where my family is... Home where my art supplies are... Home, where love abounds. So no matter where my travels may take me, for me the world that I know and feel the most comfort and love for is HOME.... HOME SWEET HOME!
Artfully Yours,
Pattie

Yes Pattie, "I feel ya"! I am a homebody thru and thru. I love that part of me...it makes me happy!- and I'm indulging it more and more EVERY DAY...be it the physical haven I call home (my house)...or the haven of my body..home of my Spirit...I am elated to feel and celebrate this Love Fest! I soar...ecstatic to be "home sweet home...a pure "Ruby-Slipper Moment" for sure!

Celebrating and sharing my rich, rich life that includes my enduring friendships, like ours, is one of those "Ruber-Slpper Moments" that I savor. Life is indeed full...and good! Yes, Dorothy..."there's no place like home".

P.S. re: the silhouette. I don't recall how it was done before Photoshop... but I do remember someone taking my picture with a camera.

Love all the colors you used, and how they work together. By the way, I finally broke down and signed up for a google account so I could leave a comment for you : )

Ironically, it is the best journeys that also make you happy to come home again.

Hi Pattie, sorry to take so long to get back re: the silhouette. I used a digital camera to photograph the subject in front of a bright window. By setting the exposure for the background, the subject is completely in shadow. Then it's just a matter of increasing the contrast in photoshop. This results in a sharp detailed silhouette. Hope this helps.
